A hand chased silver bowl of oval basic shape with raised rim and elegant drapery (godron). The bowl has a round coin-like dedication relief and dedication engraving. Correspondingly hallmarked on the underside with master’s mark, hallmark of fineness and warranty stamps.

Wilkens
The long eventful history of the Wilkens silver manufactory in Bremen was shaped by passionate people who had a great sense for cultivated elegance and refined value. Since the company was founded in 1810 by master goldsmith and silversmith Hans Martin Wilkens (1782-1869), the silver manufactory has developed in a long family tradition into an internationally active company that is still active today.
