Outstanding coffee pot made by silversmith Vinzenz Czokally from Vienna. The jug is handmade in late Biedermeier form, with four-foot openwork stand with prominent volute feet and shellwork. The ear handle has ivory isolations, the spout with wide opening resembles a trumpet flower. The wall was lovingly chiseled with mixed symbolism, including bows, flowers and column ornamentation. An absolutely unique feature is the flat hinged lid, which is set with a lifelike boar as a pommel. The eyes are made of real rubies. An exceedingly rare piece!
