HERMANN BAUER
Born near Heilbronn in 1833, he had to support his family at a young age due to the early death of his father. As an apprentice steel engraver, he soon demonstrated his great talent and was commissioned to design the columns at the “Villa Berg” in Stuttgart. After his apprenticeship, HERMANN BAUER deepened his expertise during stays abroad in Holland, London and Paris, and was inspired artistically.
