Handmade breakthrough bowl with raised wall in rococo style around 1900. The silver bowl has a four-legged stand, which is rather rare to find. The inner wall is decorated with rose vines and rocaille decorations in the Art Nouveau style. A very beautiful silver work, which can be attributed to a Hanau silversmith.

The heyday of Hanau goldsmithing and silversmithing was in the historicism, that is, 19th century. Until the revolution in 1918, the Hanau factories supplied many European royal houses with jewelry and tableware. Important names are for example Weinranck, SchleiĆner, Neresheimer, Schwahn, Zwernemann and many more.
