Carl Weishaupt – former Court jeweler and silversmith founded. 1692 Franz Benedikt Leismiller, was awarded the so-called twelfth silver worker’s charter by the Munich magistrate on September 8, 1692. It has been passed down in the family to this day. He was the head of the guild in 1705, 1715 and 1720. Joseph Bonaventura Leismiller (1698 – 1737), died early at the age of 39. Previously apprenticed to his uncle Joseph Grossauer. The widow ran the business with J.G.Uhl until 1758, then her son Franz Xaver Leismiller (1735 – 1810), who died childless. His son Max II Weishaupt (1838 – 1903) followed him, he married Anna Thomaß (daughter of Carl Thomaß, jeweler and brewer) in 1868. After his death, his widow Anna Weishaupt followed in 1903 -1918. Clara Neresheimer nĆ©e Weishaupt (their daughter), also a goldsmith, married to August Neresheimer (for his part also a long family tradition in the field of pearls, diamonds and precious stones, also curator of the treasury of the Residence). Hanni Biehler nĆ©e Neresheimer (their daughter), 1900 -1944 (student of Prof. Goldschmitt). Rudolf Biehler (her son), (student of Prof. Rickert), owner from 1944 – 1999. Florian Biehler (his son), master silversmith (student of Nikolaus Epp), owner of the Carl Weishaupt company since 1999.
