Wonderful large mantel clock with bronzed female figure sitting on the clock body, very sweetly worked – theme “grape harvest” or “grape harvest”. The dial with its Arabic numerals is kept very simple. The base is worked and decorated in typical historicism decor.

Mougin was located in Paris at 75 Rue de Turenne Paris in (1870) and Rue des Filles du Calvaire, and from 1890 also in Tavey near HĆ©ricourt (factory) near Montbiliard. Around 1900 he worked with his 2 sons. The company was awarded first a bronze medal at the World’s Fairs in Paris in 1889, and finally a silver medal in 1900. The company was renamed Societe Les fils de Adolphe Mougin.
